ABOUT THE GORYEO DYNASTY
During the three kingdoms stage and their unification, Korea continued with many internal wars until the Goryeo dynasty took power. Rebel leader Wang Geum proclaimed himself the new king of the newly founded kingdom. The sons of the most important warriors received a refined education, according to the needs of the kingdom, so the King had at his service an educated and well-trained army.
